Working with Professionals & Local Prevention Framework

YES! (Young East Surrey) is about giving young people places to go and things to do. Reigate & Redhill YMCA is working in partnership with other professional youth organisations to run projects for young people.

YES aims to :

  • To engage vulnerable, at risk young people
  • Reach the priority group of 14 – 16 year olds who are at risk
  • Provide youth work intervention out of school hours
  • Work as a non Youth Centre based approach to delivery.

These are the Local Prevention Framework Projects (Reigate and Banstead)

Escape: A School Holiday diversionary scheme

Smart: Creative Digital Art Project

Finding your way: Mentoring Service delivered by Surrey Care Trust

Peer Education: Youth justice system to give peer support to other young people

Heads Out Counselling Service

Space 4 families: Service to families

Move 627: Transition to secondary school work

Referring a young person with a LPF Referral Form

The purpose of the referral form is for agencies and professionals to refer a young person to one of the projects. A referral form is requesting a service on behalf of that young person and provides some basic information about that young person. In every case the person referring a young person will get an acknowledgement that the form has been received and is being processed.

There is one referral form and once you have filled it out you can either email it or post it to the below address.

We hope you find this process quick and easy to refer a young person. If you have any questions or queries about any of the Local Prevention projects in Reigate and Banstead you can contact:
