Heads Together

Young people come to us for a wide variety of reasons, typical issues include family breakdown, sexual, physical or mental abuse, self-harm, bullying and young parenting issues.
Sessions run at R&R YMCA, St Faith’s Family Centre in Leatherhead, East Surrey College, schools and drop-in centres across Mid and East Surrey.

Heads Together is supported by funding from Surrey Care Trust, Mrs Smith and Mount Charitable Trust and the Red Hill Trust. In 2008, Challenge event participants raised over £40,000 to keep the project going. |
We offer weekly counselling sessions, which last for 50 minutes. Appointments are available at Redhill Monday to Friday from 4.30pm to 8.30pm and Saturday during the day. Appointments for Leatherhead are on a Wednesday and Thursday evening from 5.30pm to 8.30pm. If you are a student at East Surrey College, please contact our counsellor based there for an appointment.
The length of time each young person attends depends on the complexity of their problems and their own wishes, but averages 6 months.
If you decide that counselling may be helpful for you and you would like to know more or arrange an appointment, please ring Heads Together on 01737 378481 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
‘Counselling helped me deal with issues with me dad. I realised it wasn’t all my fault. Without it I think I might have just left, and who knows where I would have ended up.’ James, aged 17
