There are over 50 classes per week in our exercise studios. With classes throughout the day and evening and a crèche each weekday morning, we make it easy to workout regularly, whatever your circumstances. Whether you are a complete beginner or an advanced exerciser, we have classes to suit you. Aerobics, Circuits, Yoga, Spin, Pilates, Body Combat, and much more.

Spin is a fun and innovative aerobic class performed on stationary bikes to motivating music. It’s an excellent, low impact, cardio-vascular class that burns off around 450 calories in a 45 minute class. The YMCA entered 4 table tennis teams in the local league with players ranging from 15 to 83! |
For young people not keen on competitive sport, Teen Fit and Teen Gym introduces 13-16 year olds, to a healthy lifestyle from an early age. If you have a disability or chronic health condition, we have an Active Living programme and special Fit for Life sessions, designed to help you maximise your mobility and independence.
For those who enjoy team games or competitive sport, take a look at our programme of Active Sports sessions - basketball, football, badminton, table tennis or running.
Sessions are held in our spacious sports hall, fitness gym or in our fully mirrored studio and are taught by fully qualified instructors. Classes are open to both members and non-members. Price for classes varies according to membership type, basic members pay £3.80 per class and non-members £4.50 per class, with concessions available.
