Junior Activities
Get Active, Get Fit, Have Fun!
We offer an exciting and varied programme of Junior Activities for children aged 5-16 years to enjoy whilst keeping active and healthy.
The programme changes regularly so children and young people can try out a range of activities and find what appeals to them. All activities are led by professional coaches or instructors to ensure sessions are safe and effective for young people and they work towards achieving recognised awards in their chosen sport.
Gymnastics courses help children develop gymnastic skills on vault and floor apparatus, including balance, co-ordination, flexibility and much more.
Trampolining courses help children develop trampolining skills such as twists and seat drops whilst developing flexibility and self-confidence.

Football classes help children develop football skills such as passing, dribbling, turning and shooting. There is also a strong emphasis on working co-operatively and positively together within a team. Football session are drop-in sessions and help children interact socially and make new friends.
MEND courses help children and families learn how to improve their health and fitness and the way they feel about their bodies. For more information click here (link to MEND page).
Street Dance courses include different dance styles such as breakdance, hip hop, rhythm and blues, designed to encourage confidence, positive attitude, flexibility, strength and co-ordination.

Self Defence is Jujitsu based, incorporating elements of Judo, Karate, Pressure Point Fighting and Weapons Defence. The training promotes self-discipline, integrity and self-confidence.
Teen Fitness is a gym based class using both cardiovascular and resistance machines in a controlled and safe environment. An induction course must be completed.
