Welcome to Children's Services where we offer Afterschool and Holiday care, activities for Under and Over 5s, Birthday Parties.

An essential part of children's development is 'learning through play' so regardless of their needs, background, abilities or interests we offer something for everyone. These opportunities include making new friends, developing new skills, learning a new sport, having a fun packed party with friends, completing homework, crawling and bouncing on a trampoline, or enjoying baby signing classes with their parents!

The YMCA aims to help children to increase their confidence and self-esteem, by enabling them to take part in a well varied programme of activities:

Thanks to a grant of £18,500 from Surrey County Council’s Early Years department we have been able to upgrade the toilets and coffee shop seating area. Thanks to a grant of £6,560 from Surrey County Council’s Positive Activities for Young People programme we were able to offer concessionary places on our summer playschemes, to families who would not otherwise have been able to afford to attend.

Under 5’s includes baby signing, toddler gym and trampolining

Juniors includes Street Dance, Self defence, Football and Trampolining.

The Boilerhouse Afterschool Club collects children from local schools, provides a healthy snack and varied activities 

Holiday Playschemes keep children entertained during school holidays and helps them learn new things and develop new friendships

Parties let us take the stress out of organising your children’s special day

Inclusive Activities for disabled children to take part alongside non-disabled children, so each learns to understand each others’ differing needs.

We also have a programme of children’s activities running at Banstead Youth Centre.  All of our activities have inclusive places for disabled children but we also run Yippee playschemes that focus on the needs of disabled children and those with complex needs.
