Three girls in the playground

Welcome to our Children's Services Department. We are here to provide children in the community the opportunity to access inclusive play. Providing a wide range of activities including after school childcare, holiday childcare, YIPPEE Club (exclusively for children with complex needs), recreational programmes, birthday parties and crèches.

It is important that our Registration Form is fully completed for every child accessing any of the above activities as this has all contact and medical details that we may need. As part of the YIPPEE Project we are able to provide financial support for children and families to enable them to access our Holiday Playschemes and Sportscamps.

Boiler House Club offers high quality after school childcare for 4 to 11 year olds. We collect children from a number of local schools and provide stimulating activities including arts and crafts, sports, cooking, computers, games and more, in our well equipped centre until 6pm. We also provide a ‘non pick up service’ for the children who attend schools we do not collect from, at a lesser charge.

Holiday schemes provide full out of school childcare during all the school holidays for children between 5 and 12 years old (up to 15 for children with special needs). We run a number of schemes to meet children's varying interests and needs. Please see the links on the left for more details.

Birthday parties! Use our facilities on a Saturday afternoon for that special occasion. Inflatable castles, sports, games and a café area can be provided to ensure that everyone has a memorable day.

The club runs every Saturday and includes activities such as cooking, bouncy castle, sports and games. For more information contact Vicki Evemy, Special Needs Co-ordinator at the YMCA.
